What do you do all day????

Sometimes Brandon will come home from work and I will be in a grumpy mood. He then asks.."what did you do all day?" After I roll my eyes, I usually say..."the usual"...which means EVERYTHING!

Well today I started thinking about everything I do.

Cade and Jace were both up before 5 am today....like every other day. But lately it has been varying from about 4am-4:50 am. Lovely..I know.

I put them in from of the TV to watch a little educational TV while I make Brandon's lunch for the day, or clean up the house a little or start laundry.

Today the kids were eating peanut butter sandwiches and smoothies by 6 am and we were out the door for a walk in the stroller and some time at the park. I lost count at how many times I had to tell them to keep their hands to themselves in the stroller. Next time, I am bring my I-pod so I can't hear them fighting while we are on our walk.

Then we were back home and I cleaned the inside of the oven and the kitchen while Cade and Jace played. Let's not forget to add all of the fighting I had to stop about a million times between them. Oh yeah, and their french toast at 8:30 am, and the snacks and drinks they asked for every 5 minutes.

At 9:30 we headed to the gym. By this point they were on their second outfit of the day and in the car asking for more snacks and drinks. I got an hour of peace on quiet on the treadmill while they were at the gym daycare. Thank goodness for the gym! It gave me enough sanity to head to Trader Joe's and AJ's with the boys.

We get to Trader Joe's and they both had to push their own little shopping cart. Oh sure, what a cute idea to have mini shopping carts for kids to push. Not when you have 2 kids that are running into eachother, me and the 100 other people that are shopping at Trader Joe's at 11am!! We get through that store with only a few bumps and bruises and about 20 apologies to everyone around us.

Then we head to AJ's. Can't go wrong with the free cookie that the kids get. I only needed a handful of things so the cookie saved me as I practically ran through the store before that last bite was taken and they wanted something else.

We finally get home at 12:30 and I make them their lunch and of course Jace doesn't want it so he is screaming and it is the usual lunchtime drama around here. I wanted them down for a nap at 1:00. Didn't happen...as usual.

Today was an hour of trying to get them to sleep and now it is finally 2pm and they are both asleep. I have about an hour of peace and quiet before they are awake and the fun begins again.

I guess I better go and take a shower...I don't think I ever got one yesterday.

Of course I am so glad that I get to stay at home with Cade and Jace! Even though it can be crazy around here, I wouldn't change it for the world! But....Brandon better think twice before he asks again what I do all day! ;)
